- So I feel like I should do like an intro of who I am and what my background is so that I can validate to you my thoughts.
- But I don't owe you anything really so your opinion is actually not important to me.
- BUT I do have to say that I'm not someone who has actually researched the facts so I now I may be wrong and that's ok, if you have something that I can learn from and actually be better informed than share it please! (with the link to read it plz)
While I was preparing for my exam I read an answer of a past exam to give me some examples of what I should expect, I star noticing that every answer has a "HE" as the leader, manager, boss. I keep making my notes pretending that I don't care, because let's face is this really transcendent for my life? Am I gonna get a better grade if I put he/she? No! So why should I care? Right? Because if we really think about it these pronouns are a social construct and have none hidden meaning whatsoever, but if that's the case why the person that wrote this exam didn't put he/she the sentence would have the same meaning... Are we really just so used to hearing men as the bosses and persons in charge that we just assume that a leader position will be filled by a man? And not the woman? Because the question was just make a profile of a future quality representative. So yes that bothers me. We should think equally right? I know the person didn't right "he" on purpose, but why couldn't he/she be also a non-purpose-following-answer?
Peace
